Stewardship and Giving
The ways to give, the St. Theresa Legacy Society, and the year's giving events, including a record Little Way Day and a record Gala.
Stewardship Opportunities
Printed report, page 13There are many ways you can contribute to the vibrant community at St. Theresa. Giving can be in the form of sharing your personal talents and service in one of our many lively ministries. School parents are asked to volunteer time, an initiative designed to give all families ownership in the success of our parish at large.
- Electronic giving
- The most convenient way to manage your contributions is to use a credit card or to save on fees, using ACH. This includes set up of recurring or one time gifts and Sunday offerings.
- Legacy, asset and deferred gifts
- You can designate the church, school or entire parish in your estate planning as a planned gift of property or asset. You may decide to give to the parish as a whole, or separate your giving by desired entity by issuing a restricted gift.
- Memorial giving
- You can remember a loved one with a memorial gift in their honor.
- Cash or check
- Traditional methods are accepted. If giving cash, we recommend enclosing your contribution in a labeled envelope. Printed offertory envelopes are also available. These free envelopes arrive to your address by mail.
- Employer gift matching
- You may be able to double the impact of your gift if your employer has a matching program that includes churches. St. Theresa has a silver-level designation by Guidestar, the world’s largest source of information about nonprofit organizations.
- Stocks, mutual funds & tax-exempt gifts
- Please consult with your financial advisor for guidance on this option. Contact the parish office for transfer instructions. (512) 451-5121

St. Theresa Legacy Society
Printed report, page 14Including the church in your will enrolls you in the St. Theresa Legacy Society. Planned gifts of property or assets ensure the long-term financial stability of our spiritual development. The St. Theresa Legacy Society is for members of the school and/or church who indicate they have included St. Theresa in their will or estate plan. Benefits of this membership include an invitation to an annual gathering with the Pastor, ongoing legacy society benefits, and recognition in campus publications.

Holiday and End of the Year Giving
Celebrate Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and more by making a special contribution to our parish. Your generosity during these holy seasons supports enhanced liturgical celebrations and community gatherings and is 100% tax deductible.
Little Way Day Benefit for the School
On October 1, 2025, the Feast Day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our community came together for Little Way Day Annual Fund, in the spirit of her Little Way of doing small things with great love. Tuition covers only part of what it takes to form students in faith and learning, so the Annual Fund closes the gap, supporting our teachers, classrooms, and programs so every child can grow in mind and spirit.
Led by Chairs Elaine & Mike Garza and Fanya & Patrick Randall, the community raised a record $360,527. Participation reached 97%, with 100% from PK3 through 6th grade, proof of what a community can do one gift at a time.

St. Theresa Catholic School Annual Gala
On February 21, 2026, 225 guests turned back the clock to 1986 at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel in downtown Austin for Forever 1986, prom night leveled up. Led by Gala Chairs Alice Bolander and Courtney Foré, along with a tireless team of volunteers, the evening brought big hair, a red carpet, prom portraits, arcade games, and dancing to Austin cover band PDA.
Generosity matched the energy. Through the Paddles Up appeal, our community completed the fundraising for TigerPLAY, the new playground installed over spring break. The Gala raised a record $306,452, up from nearly $225,000 last year, and overall stewardship across the school reached more than $700,000.
